Welcome to The Turf Zone podcast.
Please join us in welcoming Christy Rose as the new Membership & Events Coordinator for the Tennessee Golf Course Superintendents Association (TGCSA) and Tennessee Turfgrass Association (TTA).
Christy recently relocated to Franklin, Tennessee, from Overland Park, Kansas, where she taught English and History in the Special Education Department. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and brings a passion for building relationships, serving others, and creating meaningful experiences.
Christy and her husband, Pat, superintendent at Belle Meade Country Club, are excited to be part of the Tennessee golf and turfgrass community once again. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Crimson Tide.
“We are thrilled to welcome Christy to our team,” said Melissa Martin, Executive Director of the TGCSA and TTA. “Her enthusiasm, organizational skills, and passion for serving others make her an excellent fit for our associations. I am excited about the energy and ideas she brings, and I know our members will enjoy getting to know and working with her.”
Christy is excited to begin working with both associations and looks forward to meeting and getting to know our members in the months ahead.
