It is time to get ready for another great Maryland Turfgrass Council Annual Conference and Trade Show on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. The event will be hosted at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, MD.

The MTC Education Committee has planned an exciting and informational program. Numerous changes are planned, including changes to Trade Show hours and the inclusion of a Keynote Speaker while still providing the Pesticide and Fertilizer Application License Recertification Credits for MD and all surrounding States, plus Golf Course Superintendents Education Points, MD Tree Specialist credits and CCLC credits.

Speakers for the conference which have been confirmed are Golf Track: Mike Fidanza (2 talks- Penn State), Brandon Horvath (Univ. of Tenn), Brian Gietka (USGA), as well as presentations from Geoff Rinehart and Fereshteh Shahoveisi; Sports Track: Brandon Horvath (Univ. of Tenn), Mike Fidanza (Penn State) plus information from Chuck Schuster, Geoff Rinehart, and a panel discussion on Fraze Mowing with Kevin Mathias leading; Lawn & Landscape Track: Brandon Horvath (Univ. of Tenn) plus presentations from Dave Clement, Kevin Mathias, Chuck Schuster, Geoff Rinehart and Fereshteh Shahoveisi.
