Box Tree Moth Confirmed in Maryland and Virginia
The first detections of box tree moth have been made in Maryland and Virginia according to statements from the Maryland Department of Agriculture and Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Box tree moth (Cydalima perspectalis) is an invasive pest species native to Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, far-east Russia and India.
